about
Noir features neoclassical felted piano.
Every note is carefully chosen and not quite landing where you expect.
We worked to develop a felted upright piano sound to enhance the pieces, which are played with much rubato but very little dynamic range. This translates to the listener as sounding classical and gentle, but with a European piano sound and flavour.
